Bio:\u00a0 Manreet Anand (she\/her) is a senior at Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore County and is enrolled in the Academy of Health Professions program. She has been involved with MASC for the past five years and is returning for her third year as appointed staff.<\/p>\n

At the regional level, Manreet has been involved with the Baltimore County Student Councils (BCSC) for the past six years, previously serving as Regional President. She currently serves as the Student Government Association President at Eastern Tech and is passionate about student leadership, advocacy, and empowering the student voice. In addition to her student council involvement, Manreet is active in her school’s SkillsUSA chapter, Students Demand Action chapter, and South Asian Student Union, among other activities.<\/p>\n

In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends. Manreet is excited to be part of the MASC family once again and is enjoying working with everyone this year!<\/p>\n

Bio: Jessica Ramos is a senior at South Hagerstown High School in Washington County, where she is enrolled in the Academic Leadership Academy (ALA) magnet program. At her school, she serves as the Class of 2027 Treasurer and is in her second year as Student Council Vice President. At the county level, she serves as a high school at-large member for the Washington County Association of Student Councils (WCASC).<\/p>\n

Jessica has been involved with the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) since her freshman year and is now serving her first year as an appointed staff member. As evaluations coordinator, she creates informative forms to gather and analyze feedback, which helps improve MASC’s events.<\/p>\n

Outside of student council, Jessica enjoys gardening, shopping, and doing Sudoku puzzles. She is presenting more workshops this year and is excited to be continuing her leadership journey with MASC.<\/p>\n

Bio:\u00a0 Maeve Eiswert is a junior at Southern Garrett High School. She plays tennis, participates in mock trial, and student council. She also founded a United Nations Children\u2019s Fund club at her school. In addition, Maeve is involved in the Garrett County Drug Free Communities Coalition, the Garrett County Democratic Central Committee, and is a class officer. She has been active in advocacy since elementary school, and continues to work to make progress where she goes.<\/p>\n

Bio:\u00a0 \u00a0Cassidy Kim (she\/her) is a sophomore at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Baltimore County and is enrolled in the Vocal Music program. She has been involved with MASC for two years, but this is her first time as appointed staff!<\/p>\n

At the regional level, Cassidy has been involved with Baltimore County Junior Councils and Baltimore County Student Councils for the past two years and also serves as their Student Workshop Coordinator. Over time, she has grown passionate about advocating and empowering student voices, and hopes to continue her journey here at MASC beyond this year.<\/p>\n

In her free time, Cassidy enjoys volunteering at children’s theatre programs, performing in musicals, and spending time with friends. She is thrilled to be a part of MASC, and is excited working with everyone this year!<\/p>\n

Bio:\u00a0<\/span>Saanvi Lanke is a freshman at Richard Montgomery High School in Montgomery County and has been actively involved in student leadership, advocacy, and service since middle school. She currently serves in leadership roles with several student-led organizations.<\/p>\n

Saanvi is actively involved in the Montgomery County Regional Student Government Association as Educational Policy Deputy, Eco MoCo as an Advocacy Director, and various leadership initiatives throughout the nation. Through her work, she has partnered with students, educators, and policymakers to advance student initiatives and advocate for various measures.<\/p>\n

Beyond student leadership, Saanvi participates in competitive Public Forum debate, where she develops advocacy, public speaking, and policy analysis skills. She also participates in Cross Country, Karate, and plays the violin! In her free time, Saanvi enjoys trying new foods, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends. She is excited to continue working with student leaders across Maryland!<\/p>\n

Bio:\u00a0<\/span>Jayden Leonard (she\/her) is a junior at Crofton High School in Anne Arundel County. She has been involved in MASC for 1 year, and is enjoying her 2nd year now as an appointed staff member. She started her leadership journey in middle school, being selected to be on her Principal’s Student Feedback Board. Jayden wishes she knew of MASC earlier, because she loves the family and amazing people she has met on her leadership path.<\/p>\n

Jayden is involved in her school’s Student Government Association, holding the current position as Secretary and past Treasurer. She is also involved in American Sign Language Honor Society as Vice President and working toward getting the Seal of Biliteracy in American Sign Language. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.<\/p>\n

Outside of school, Jayden is very involved with volunteering with animals, having over 2,000 hours of service with different types of species, from exotic animals, like alligators and snakes, to small animals, like rabbits and cats. With her passion for all animals, she hopes to pursue a career as a veterinarian.<\/p>\n
